- Jor­din Too­too mis­sed prac­tice after taking a puck in the face from team­mate Cody Fran­son in the third period Thurs­day night. Too­too nee­ded about 45 stitches and had some plas­tic sur­gery. He had a chec­kup appoint­ment in Fran­klin during Friday’s prac­tice but was expec­ted to be on the flight to Chi­cago and ready to Game 5.

- Hornq­vist prac­ti­ces: There’s still no offi­cial word on Patric Hornqvist’s sta­tus for Game 5. He com­ple­ted the entire prac­tice and is ques­tio­na­ble. “He’s get­ting bet­ter,” Trotz said. “By tomo­rrow he might be ready.”

- Defen­se­man Ryan Suter also mis­sed prac­tice, but it was not due to injury. “Just a little main­te­nance,” Trotz said. “He plays lots of minu­tes. He’s fine. There will be no issues with him tomorrow.”

- It doesn’t appear the Pre­da­tors are ready to insert Denis Gre­besh­kov into the lineup any­time soon. Gre­besh­kov hasn’t pla­yed since suf­fe­ring a groin injury on March 7 but has been prac­ti­cing with the team. The coaching staff has deci­ded to stick with Cody Franson.
